H.R. 793 - Legislation on Offshore Renewables

We're a little late with this post but here's a link to H.R. 793, a bill introduced by Representative Barbara Cubin which would give the Department of Interior, particularly, the Mineral Management Service, jurisdiction over offshore renewable energy development on the Outer Continental Shelf. The proposed legislation is very similar to H.R. 5156 also proposed by Cubin in the 107th Congress which never progressed past subcommittee hearings.
